i) As a general rule, if recipients use Outlook Express, Outlook, AOL 6.0 - 8.0, Hotmail, or Yahoo, most will be able to view HTML email as intended. Most compatibility issues will arise when the recipient is using Outlook (Mac), Lotus Notes, or Eudora.
ii) For Rich Text Format, the following HTML tags are generally the only ones supported:

· Break: BR
· Centre: Center
· Font: Font
· Header: H1, H2, H3
· Hyperlink: A
· Italics: I
· Paragraph: P
· Small: Small
· Strong: Strong
· Underline: Uiii) AOL 9.0 blanks out your HTML images unless you are on the recipients "Person I Know" list. AOL 9.0 also displays the url of your HTML links, but hotlinks are disabled (ie. links are not clickable).
iv) Yahoo has a user-controlled option that allows blocking of all HTML images by default.
